Democratic Revolution Continues in Egypt
- in Spite of US Corporate-State Agenda

Two years after the Egyptian revolution which ousted a US-backed dictator, they've done it again. US-backed Morsi (also spelled Mursi, Mursy & Morsy throughout the disruptive US press) who has imprisoned comedians for speaking against him, has now been overthrown by a second revolution. Perhaps the democratic revolution had simply never really ended. Perhaps revolution begins with a state of consciousness.
Photos from Egypt the US media won't show you.

The US media moved quickly to help the White House brand this achievement of the power of the people, as a mere 'military coup'. However, this term hardly applies when tens of millions of people take to the streets and demand a US-backed corrupt dictator be removed and held accountable for crimes against the people.

Why then, does the US want so badly to dismiss the successful revolution of the people of Egypt?

Why is the US corporate-state media helping to dress up true democracy as 'instability'?

You wouldn't know it by living in the west, but "Democracy" actually means 'rule by the people'.

Here, at best, we actually have a Plutocratic-Republic.

Why are we taught to believe that a system which is 100% controlled by monied-interests, where 2 loyal servants are pre-selected by Wall Street criminals and all other voices are utterly destroyed if not drowned out by their owned and controlled corporate-media outlets - is a 'democracy'?!

Probably because teaching the people to believe that their corporate servitude to a small, select, criminal elite is actually their own 'choice' allows the corruption to perpetuate. Most Americans don't even realize that their votes for president are irrelevant to the electoral process. The Electoral College dictates that only pre-selected state representatives get to actually cast votes in US presidential elections. The general public simply has no real legal say.
What the US corporate-state media ignores in Egypt.

The greater issue though, again, is that even if the American people really were allowed to directly vote for their choice of leaders - money is the real voice in all American politics. The enormous power of PR is controlled only by those with the financial strength to create the government they want. This is not 'democracy' but plutocracy. There is - by definition - no truly democratic electoral process involved in the United States system of government, or politics. There is only a system of rule of the money, by the money, and for the money.

This might help explain why the US corporate-state media is so aggressively branding legitimate 'rule by the people' (the actual definition of 'democracy') as some kind of scary 'military coup' in Egypt. They are desperate to distract the American people from the truth of our own power.

What would happen if 30 million Americans took to the streets and demanded that our corrupt politicians be ousted and held to account for their crimes against the people, the Constitution, and the planet?

We got a good glimpse of it 1 1/2 years ago, when hundreds of thousands of us did take to the streets - in every major city and town across the country. We were beaten and assaulted with tear gas and military grade pepper spray. Journalists were obstructed, attacked, and illegally arrested. The US corporate-state media was used to slander the people and the movement, and most of the successes of the people were blacked out. This is NOT what 'democracy' looks like.

When the Egyptian police continuously assaulted the Egyptian protesters two years ago during the initial uprising, the military stepped in to protect the people. When the military ousted then president, Hosni Mubarak, and took control - the people continued to protest until power was ceded to an elected official. When that official proved to be a corrupt tyrant (the usual choice of US sponsorship, particularly in the middle east), the people again demanded change. The Egyptian military again stepped in to assert the power of the people. Change is a process. The sooner it is implemented, the sooner the sought after results can take place, but it takes fine tuning. In Egypt, actual democracy is taking place today. The power of the people is asserting rightful dominance over corrupt governments and politicians.

Can you imagine if the US military were to COME HOME and assert the rights of the people over our own corrupt politicians, corporations, and government figureheads?

As long as the fraudulent US 'news' media and political systems are allowed to continually divide the people, the power will remain in the hands of the wealthy rulers. As long as we allow the conversation to always be divided - under the false guise of 'political balance' - we will continue to fight amongst ourselves, rather than assert our true power.

What the US corporate-state media won't show you, from Egypt.
The power of the people can overturn the corrupt in short order. Egypt has proven this twice in as many years. When the manufactured economic collapse first threatened the world, back in 2008, Iceland refused to be held hostage to the corrupt bankers and politicians responsible. Instead, they arrested those responsible within their government and banking institutions and completely reconstructed their government from the ground up - complete with a brand new, internet crowd-sourced Constitution, of, by, and for the people.

Why does the US government and its corporate partners want us all to believe that Egypt's legitimate, democratic revolution is actually some kind of frightening 'military coup' taking power from the people? Likely because they do not want us to know the truth of just how powerful the people are.

THE PEOPLE, UNITED - CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED.

It's past time to realize that the US government is a ONE-party system of greed and corruption.
The theater of sided politics has shown itself repeatedly as fraud. The people are waking up.
The people are learning to turn off their televisions - to discern fact from fiction.

More of us realize each day just how dangerous it is to confuse our 'country' for our government.

We, the people are increasingly releasing ourselves of the bondage of divisive political identifications.
It's become all too clear that the most corrupt capitalist institutions own BOTH phony parties - and the media. There is no true 'free elections' in the US - only expensive ones. Elections bought and controlled by those with the financial power to choose what they want, in lieu of the will of the people. This is not democracy, but plutocracy.

Congratulations, Egypt.
True democracy is not always pretty, but it certainly is of, by, and hopefully, for the people.
Keep showing the world how it's done! Maybe democracy will catch on.
